Where do I get the strength to finish my studies?
Constructive and nonconstructive studies
If we talk in the short term (a week or two), it will be very problematic for you to find additional inner power, thanks to which you could "destroy" all your problematic situations. More time is needed for you to have an "inner flame motor". And we don't have time, as usual. Everything must be done today, or even yesterday.
Accordingly, since we can not adjust ourselves to work with double energy in the short term, so, it is necessary to operate (or manage) the energy that we have at the moment (or the semblance of it, which remained at the end of the school year).
Consequently, in order to free up more time for high-priority tasks that require immediate regulation, you need to give up doing the rest of the things (non-constructive activities) that are essentially just "garbage" that stuck to you during your student activity at the university.
Where do you find the strength to complete your studies?
1. Decide on a goal for your activities
In order to understand what you need to spend your energy on, you need to set a goal. Your goal is the lodestar that leads you through all the obstacles and ultimately to the desired outcome.
What are the goals? Yes, all kinds, depending on the nature of your problems. Some people's goals may be focused on studies (in principle, this article is just about solving academic problems at the end of the academic year).
Students, after all, are human beings too, and so, in addition to purely academic affairs, they also live in a world where they also have to solve a wide variety of problems. However, this article, as I have already said, is primarily aimed at the academic process, so I will continue to focus on student affairs.
2. Sort the cases by priority
Once you've made a list of all your to-dos, then you need to sort all your to-dos by priority, based on your goal. If you set a goal for yourself to pass the session with "excellent", respectively, you must assign as a priority all matters related directly to the studies. If you have a different goal, respectively, you focus on your goal.
You can also refuse to do some things at all, i.e. create a third group in the form of a "basket". There you will put the things you do not need, roughly speaking, there you will throw out all the junk that you do not need to do, because the things in the "basket" are a waste of time for you.
After sorting the cases by priority, you continue to work with the 2 groups ("priority" and "non-priority" cases), and you simply forget about the "basket" group. We ended up having to create 3 groups anyway, as they usually advise in time management books. Well, let it be so, you do not mind, right? :)
3. Planning our time
Planning is the basis for a peaceful life. When you know exactly what you have to do when, then you have less headaches about how to get everything done. So your next step is to schedule all of your available time so that you allocate 70-80% of your time to the high priority group and 30-20% to the non-priority group.
It's important to remember that your plan will never be executed 100% as you planned. And that's okay. The plan is never executed the way you originally outlined it. Then what's the point of having one at all, you ask? The answer is that no matter how bad a plan is, it always helps you better navigate whatever you're doing.
A plan is a kind of framework that helps you avoid being affected by the external environment, i.e. any circumstances. Having a plan levels out all influences on you, and by doing so, you are more likely to achieve your goal without being distracted by extraneous issues.
4. Bombing Attack.
After you have done all of the above, it's time for a massive attack on all your problems. As I said before, by planning your actions, you cut off everything unnecessary, which allows you to concentrate on your priorities.
That's where the strength to finish your studies comes from. You just need to cut out the unnecessary and concentrate on what's important. Generally speaking, concentrating on one thing allows you to achieve unimaginable results. When you concentrate on one problem and make every effort to solve it, it turns out that you turn into a magnifying glass, which collects all the rays of the sun (in our case, all your strength) and simply burns the problem to the ground.
Try concentrating on any one of your problems, and you'll feel the power of concentration. If you are interested in this subject, then read the book by Brian Tracy, "The Focus Point". In this book, he clearly talks about all the power of such a technique.
